Hospice says thanks
CEO Neil McDonald said that he refers to his nurses as angels because of the tremendous, selfless work they do.
Khanya Hospice celebrated World NGO Day on Tuesday this week.
Hospice members said that they have always been happy to be able to do what they do with limited resources, but are always smiling and willing to go the extra mile for those in need.
CEO Neil McDonald said that he refers to his nurses as angels because of the tremendous, selfless work they do.
“As a NGO – NPO we do not get government funding, but keep going and doing the best we can,” he added.
“We, similarly to other NGOs, are grateful for the community’s support in allowing us to offer the services we do to the needy. Thank you all.”
