JUST IN: Armed robbery in Bizana leaves police officer dead and many injured [WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGE]

Roads in Bizana still closed, as police are on the crime scene.

Some roads are closed in Bizana due to an armed robbery which occurred near the Total Filling Station on Main Street, during the early hours of Monday morning (July 15).

According to reports, a shoot-out ensued with the robbers which has left at least one policeman dead, and many others injured.

This information has not been confirmed as details are limited at this stage, an official police statement is awaited.
