Fundraiser for nature reserve

For the rugby fanatics, the South Africa vs New Zealand game will be on, so bring a blanket, chair, cooler box and enjoy the day.

There has been quite a lot going on at Scottburgh’s TC Robertson Nature Reserve ever since Anton and Gerda Faul took the reins earlier this year.

The reserve has received some major TLC and is still being worked on daily.

The Fauls have also been working on some fundraisers.

A Spring Music Festival and fundraiser will be held on September 7 from 12:00 to 19:00, and the public can expect performances by Shaun Wulf, Winston Smile, John Skuy, Sage and Gypsy Girl.

There will be lots of food stalls, arts and crafts, a photo booth, jumping castle, slip and slide, children’s arts and crafts corner, and, of course, adult supervision.

For the rugby fanatics, the South Africa vs New Zealand game will be on, so bring a blanket, chair, cooler box and enjoy the day.

Tickets are available at R90 per person and R160 per couple. Children get free entry.

“TC Robertson is urgently in need of a bigger storeroom,” explained Gerda.

“All the funds we make from the Spring Music Festival will be used to buy a storage room.”

Everyone is reminded of the popular Mongoose Teagarden and book sales every Wednesday from 09:00 to 12:00. There will also be a café opening up at the nature reserve soon.

The Mongoose Teagarden is always a hit every Wednesday.
