Warning of heavy rain today on KZN South Coast

South Coasters have woken to a wet and chilly Sunday.

The South African Weather Service has warned of disruptive rainfall, which is expected in eThekwini and parts of the Ugu, uMgungundlovu and iLembe Districts today (Sunday).

Also predicted are severe thunderstorms, which will bring excessive lightning, hail stones, heavy downpours and damaging winds to the rest of the province.

Residents are urged to:

– Avoid crossing flooded walkways or roads.
– Exercise extreme caution while driving, as roads may become slippery.
– Stay updated on weather and road conditions through reliable sources.
