Lively and colourful Diwali celebrations

Prayers, singing and music filled the streets.

Diwali festivities began with a float procession and cultural activities through Port Shepstone CBD ending with light lunches and snacks last Saturday.

This year, the joyous event was hosted by the Port Shepstone Hindu Cultural Federation and the Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Mandir.

Hindus celebrated Diwali/Deepavali last Thursday.
