BB Bakery, via the Umkomaas Primary School, donated loaves of bread to charitable organisations with hospice as one of the nominees.
Neil McDonald and Thabile Dlamini received the donation and said that a loaf of bread can bring the biggest smiles to the faces of their patients.
“Many times, our nurses visit patients, and the patient has not eaten for the day. We have to often give them something to eat before they take their medication, and this donation has helped us,” explained Thabile.
