Call if you find stranded marine animals

If you find a struggling sea creature on the beach – call for help.

Experts suggest calling for professional help rather than trying to return marine life to the sea.

The 24-hour KZN Stranding Network number is 031 328 8222 (office hours) or 031 328 8060 (after hours).

This is for all marine animals, including dolphins, whales, seals, turtles, penguins and seabirds.

Alternatively, you can call 082 6776792 for KZN South Coast.
