TRAFFIC ALERT: Stop and go causes chaos on Mzimkhulu bridge, Port Shepstone

Add roughly 20 minutes to your travel time.

A stop and go on the Mzimkhulu bridge is causing major traffic delays.

The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) has been doing repairs on the bridge since yesterday (Thursday).

Motorists are urged to reduce speed when approaching the bridge.

If you decide to take the back road, be aware that the verges are overgrown and roads are narrow.

Also, take note the traffic lights are not working today (Friday) at the Oribi Plaza intersection in Port Shepstone.

The Herald is waiting for feedback from Sanral on the situation.
