Andhra Sabha celebrates 70 years
Highlights will include traditional rituals, music and dance.
The Consul General of India, Dr Thelma John David, will be the guest of honour at Port Shepstone Andhra Sabha’s Ugadi (Telugu Andhra New Year) and 70th anniversary celebrations.
The event takes place at the Andhra Sabha Hall in Lions Grove on Sunday, March 30, from 10:00.
Some of the highlights will include traditional rituals, music, dance, and speeches on the organisation’s achievements since 1955.
The founding families, Andhra Sabha members, representatives from local religious and cultural organisations, and other special guests/dignitaries have been invited to join to celebrate the spirit of togetherness, tradition, and progress from humble beginnings.
