Municipal workers march to main council offices in Port Shepstone

They were told the leadership was not in.

RNM workers marching in the CBD to RNM main offices.

Ray Nkonyeni Municipality workers held a peaceful march from Chris Hani Square to the main municipal offices in Port Shepstone earlier this morning.

The workers marched with placards saying that they don’t want the municipal manager and the mayor in office anymore.

When they got to RNM’s offices, no one came out to receive their memorandum and they were told that the leadership was not in.

Workers stayed outside the main offices saying they will wait for the leadership to return, so that they can hand their memo.
