Who will wear Blue Diamond crown?
The pageant will include a fashion show and Red Carpet Walk.
Cammi Govender of Marburg, a Mrs Bold 2025 semi-finalist, is organising an event to promote acceptance and inclusion for individuals with autism this Saturday at 13:30.
Contestants are invited to enter the Autism’s Blue Diamond Pageant, which will be held at St Martin de Porres school.
“We are looking for the one that can walk the walk and talk the talk, someone who will light up our stage in shades of blue and be crowned our Autism Blue Diamond,” she said.
“It’s about empowering voices and embracing differences. The objective is to create a platform for individuals with autism and without to raise awareness while promoting inclusion and acceptance.”
Contestants will need to prepare a three-minute speech as their ‘Why’ for autism awareness and advocacy and present it to a panel of judges.
This will play a significant role as to who will be crowned winner.
“The tone of the speech would need to be authentic, passionate and respectful,” said Cammi.
The pageant will include a fashion show and Red Carpet Walk.
Male and female contestants may enter. No experience required; meals provided. Entry fees will apply. For more info, contact Cammi on 068 3018799 or Tabby Madondo on 061 6273978.
