The fun 5km walk held to support the Umtamvuna Lifesaving Club on Sunday was a huge success, with almost 200 walkers showing up.

Event organiser, Terri Burger said the weather was amazing and families spent the whole day at the dam enjoying the water at Seaview Game Farm near Port Edward.

Burger said Nikki Wichmann who helped her organise the event came up with the amazing idea to host the event at her farm.

“The walkers walked through the farm, keeping a lookout for zebras, impala and wildebeest that run freely. It’s such a different location for a fun walk with the game and the dam at the end. We are lucky to have it on our doorstep,” said Terri.
