Join the NSRI – Shelly Beach crew needs volunteers
As a non-profit organisation, the NSRI relies entirely on volunteers and donations to keep its operations running.
Why not lend a hand at sea? The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) Station 20 Shelly Beach is calling on community members to join its volunteer sea-going crew.
The station is looking for dedicated individuals, 18 years and older, who are passionate about saving lives at sea and willing to commit their time and energy to this vital community service. While sea-going experience is preferred, it’s not essential as training is provided.
Volunteers must be local to the area and have their own transport.
As a non-profit organisation, the NSRI relies entirely on volunteers and donations to keep its operations running.
Volunteers are not paid, but the reward comes in the form of serving the community, learning valuable lifesaving skills, and being part of a committed team that’s on call 24/7.
Those interested in joining Station 20’s crew can get in touch by emailing station20management@searescue.org.za or sending a WhatsApp message to 082 9905950.
