Mud, thrills and roaring engines at new 4×4 track

Coastline 4×4 is now open to the public for bookings and promises regular events for off-road adventurers on the KZN South Coast.

The South Coast’s new off-road facility, Coastline 4×4, officially launched with a wet and wild open day last Saturday – drawing strong support from 4×4 owners and off-road enthusiasts.

Despite the weather, spirits were high as vehicles tackled the freshly designed obstacle course set in Izotsha, opposite Izotsha Creek Estate. Drivers tested both their skills and their vehicles’ capabilities through challenging terrain, thick mud and deep puddles – all part of the fun.

The facility, developed and designed by Creole Moodley, offers farmlands with a scenic ocean view, various obstacle sections, a children’s play area, ablution facilities, braai spots, a takeaway station, and even a pool table.

Creole thanked sponsors and supporters who helped make the launch a success.

“It’s a place to test your vehicle, develop your skills, and bring enjoyment to the 4×4 community,” said Creole.

The open day was all about bringing together people who share a love for the off-road lifestyle – and judging by the turnout and muddy tyres, Coastline 4×4 is off to a strong start.
