Shoreline Challenge heads for final leg from Port Edward to Wild Coast

Sunday, August 24, is the last leg of this year's challenge.

Leg 7 of the annual Shoreline Challenge took place from Munster to Port Edward recently.

Once walkers reached their destination they enjoyed a tasty breakfast roll and coffee prepared by volunteers from National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI): Station 32 in Port Edward.

Umtamvuna Marine Conservancy’s vice-chair Helen Ueckermann, who took part, gave special thanks to Jen Els and Ntlahla Yolisa for ensuring the beachfront was sparkling clean for the walkers.

Sunday, August 24, is the last leg of this year’s challenge. The walk starts at Port Edward NSRI and finishes at the Umtamvuna River.
