Marburg author pens second book

Eurupa Naidoo’s second book, ‘Life Lyfing;’ is a collection of short stories, letters and poems about the lives of ordinary people.
It was launched at the Eduvos Durban International Book Fair on Sunday.
The book navigates through the realities and complexities of family dynamics, relationships and societal challenges that shape daily lives.
Naidoo from Marburg, shares in one of the short stories her personal experiences of loss, pain and growth; highlighting the importance of compassion, love and empathy to overcome life’s challenges.
The title Life Lyfing; basically (living your life) has a semicolon (;), a recognised adopted symbol for mental health awareness, representing a pause in a story rather than a full stop, signifying hope and resilience.
“I did not realise the hidden wounds and pain that I experienced throughout my life, but as I self introspected my pain and memories surfaced. I dealt with issues on hand until it no longer irked me. There is no end to healing as it is an ongoing process, as one minute I can be smiling and laughing to my heart’s content, while the next moment I can be sad and burst into tears. Writing this book has definitely been a healing journey for me,” said Eurupa.
