High tea extravaganza entertains
The event was held to celebrate the hard working women and raise much needed funds.
The HICC on the Ravine was transformed into a whimsical wonderland with drapes and lights when the Shree Raam Narayan Mandir on Dairy Road, Marburg hosted a high tea fundraiser featuring ‘Bash with Tash’ Langara Queen on Sunday.

Organisers Renita Maharaj and Nisha Maharaj together with the members of the mandir brought this vision to life and hosted a fantastic high tea. The event was held to celebrate the hard working women and to raise much needed funds for the upgrade of the mandir.

Programme director Shamin Maharaj kept the almost 400 guests on their toes with a carefully planned programme of fun games and dances. Everyone anxiously awaited the main event when social media sensation and businesswoman, ‘Bash with Tash’ Natashia Munian took to the stage. The sold out event also featured local entertainment with dances, raffles, prizes and fabulous refreshments.

“Bash with Tash, a popular and hilarious entertainer kept the crowd in stitches. Our gratitude to the organisers, the MC, music team, Kiara’s Dance Group and everyone who went the extra mile in turning this fundraiser into a magical event,” said chairperson Rocky Ramsingh.
