Umdoni Municipality informs residents and businesses that all municipal services are currently disrupted due to labour unrest.

At this stage, it is unknown as to what the specific reasons for the labour unrest are.

The municipality has stated that there are active engagements with union representatives in an effort to reach a resolution.

“We sincerely apologise to the entire Umdoni community for the inconvenience caused and greatly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time,” said Umdoni Municipality, via a media statement.
