Hawan course for peaceful daily living

Do you want to perform a simple hawan (prayer), but feel perplexed by complex rituals or Sanskrit? Are you curious about the meanings behind mantras, but don’t know where to start?
Arya Samaj South Africa is offering the Yajak course which is designed to help you take charge of your spirituality in a way that’s easy to understand and practical for daily life. Locals are invited to learn step-by-step how to perform simple prayers for your loved ones, be it for birthdays, Diwali, home, special events, or peaceful daily living.
Learn to chant mantras with confidence and understand their significance. Perform hawan on your own with ease and discover the meanings behind Hindu symbols and rituals. Rajnie Singh of the Port Shepstone Arya Samaj will be conducting in person classes for the community. The courses will be a graded exam with certificates handed out to students. * The Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Mandir of Lower Albersville is hosting its Navaratri prayer until October 1. Weekday prayers are at 18:00 and at 15:00 on weekends. Daily invocation prayers, recitals of the Maa Durga Saptashati and hawan will be held. The mandir will host Pravesh Sunker Music Productions at its Khanya Puja this Saturday (27th), from 15:00 and Shakti Nagara this Sunday (28th), from 15:00. Saraswati prayer will be observed on Tuesday, September 30. Diwali celebrations will be observed on October 11. * The Port Shepstone Tamil Association invites devotees to its Navaratri prayer at the Sivan Temple until October 2. Saraswati prayer will be conducted on Wednesday, October 1 followed by Vijay Dashmi on October 2. Prayers will be conducted daily, with hawan at 18:30 on weekdays and 18:00 on weekends.
