Andhra Sabha to host Raam bhajan
The auspicious month of Purttassi (mid-September to mid-October) has already commenced and is dedicated to the worship of Maha Vishnu (the preserver).
Port Shepstone and District Andhra Sabha will host its popular Raam Bhajan prayer this Saturday (4th) at the Andhra Sabha Hall at 18:00.
An invitation is extended to all religious and cultural organisations, temple groups and the public to attend. Supper will be served between 17:00 and 18:00, before the main prayer.
This year’s Raam Bhajan is being rendered by the acclaimed Shree Hanuman Raam Bhajan group from Isipingo. The prayer has its origins from the Raam Bhajana festival which is a popular dance-bhajan presentation in praise of Lord Rama. * The Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Mandir of Lower Albersville is hosting its Diwali celebrations on Saturday, October 11. Loads of entertainment is planned with the highlight being a fireworks display. Don’t miss the Pravesh Sunker show band, Bhangra Bash with DJ Reev, and much more. Rajnie Singh of the Port Shepstone Arya Samaj will be conducting in person classes for the Port Shepstone community. The courses will be a graded exam with certificate handed out.
