Secret Swim makes waves in Margate this October

ILoveBoobies is a non-profit group that deals with breast cancer awareness.

Women of the South Coast are invited to join a unique nationwide event – Secret Swim 2025 – on Saturday, October 11.

ILoveBoobies is a non-profit group that deals with breast cancer awareness. It is dedicated to providing free breast cancer screenings to women who cannot afford them across South Africa, through various fundraising initiatives.

This isn’t a race, but a heartfelt gathering to honour fighters, celebrate survivors and to remember those lost to breast cancer. From 07:30 to 09:00, women across South Africa will dip, swim, or bop at 17 secret sunrise venues, including one right here on the South Coast.

The exact location will only be revealed at 23:59 on Friday, October 10.

Entry is R200 (pre-registration only), with 100% of funds going to ILoveBoobies, which provides free breast cancer screenings for women in underserved communities.

Supporters can look forward to a safe, women-only space, complete with female lifeguards, bag-watchers and plenty of positive energy. A quick dip counts – it’s about community, not competition.
Visit www.iloveboobies.co.za to register.
