Diwali show float procession in Port Shepstone this Saturday
The main Diwali festivities will be held at the Andhra Sabha hall in Lions Grove, from 16:00.
The Port Shepstone Hindu Cultural Federation will host it annual Diwali Show this Saturday (18th). Festivities start with a float procession at the Dick King parking lot at 10:00.
Eight temples will be taking part in the procession through Port Shepstone CBD and St Martin de Porres School grounds. Lunch will be served and all are welcome. The main festivities will be held at the Andhra Sabha hall, Lions Grove, from 16:00.
Items will be performed by the Hindu Cultural Federation’s affiliates made up of 10 organisations, including eight local temples. Items include dances, sketches, instrumental musicians, bhajans, talks and concludes with music by Khilona Sounds showband. Supper will be served.
