Support this year’s Santa Shoebox Project
Donors can choose a child or children for whom they wish to pledge a shoebox.
Each year the Santa Shoebox Project collects and distributes gifts for underprivileged children throughout South Africa.
This year, the community is asked to join this festive project by visiting www.santashoebox.org.za to register as a supporter.
Pledging is open and donors are able to choose the child or children for whom they wish to pledge a shoebox.
Then the next step is to fill the box with: a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, washcloth, clothing, educational supplies, sweets/treats and a toy.
The items need to be packed in a standard sized shoebox or plastic container, colourfully decorated, with the lid wrapped separately.
All items must be new, unused and age-appropriate.
The dates to drop off your box at the Southcoast Mall, Shelly Beach are on the weekend of October 31 and November 1 between 08:00 and 17:00.
Contact Sandy Kathrayan-Moodley on 082 4523346 for further information.
