Pledge with purpose for hospice Tree of Light campaign
Make this festive season one of remembrance, love, and purpose and help South Coast Hospice light up lives once more.
The Tree of Light will be displayed at South Coast Hospice, 29 Connor Street, Port Shepstone, on Friday, December 5, with pledges accepted until 18:30. The official lighting ceremony will begin at 19:00.
Every year, South Coast Hospice stands alongside the community during times of loss and loneliness – offering light, love, and comfort.
This year, the annual Tree of Light takes on an even deeper meaning. With every pledge made, donors will receive a small soft toy that will be gifted to a child in need.
“This year’s Tree of Light is all about giving with purpose,” said Di van Wyk, CEO of South Coast Hospice.
“By making a pledge, you’re not only honouring the memory of a loved one – you’re also bringing comfort to a child who may be feeling lonely. It’s a simple act of kindness that shares both love and light.”
Funds raised through the pledges support the dedicated hospice teams who provide care and comfort to patients and their families throughout the South Coast.
Pledges can be made at the South Coast Hospice offices from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 15:00, or at the South Coast Mall every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday during November.
