KZN author’s children’s book teaches teamwork and organisation

The book targets children between the ages of two and 10.

‘Busy Day with Daddy’, the second children’s book by KZN author and illustrator Jennifer Carroll, was launched at TC Robertson Nature Reserve in Scottburgh recently.

This book is part of a seven-book series featuring animals from different parts of the world.

Jessie the Highland Cow is the main character named after Jessabelle ‘Jessie’ Carroll, the author’s stepdaughter, who was an inspiration for the book.

“It is a heart-warming story that helps little ones handle being overwhelmed and at the same time learning the power of organisation and teamwork,” said Jennifer.

“My books are also ADHD and neurodivergent-friendly. My aim is for my books to help children build confidence, independence and calm through simple routines and love.”

The book targets children between the ages of two and 10.

At the launch, Jennifer expressed her gratitude for all who were present, thanking her supporters, and publisher The Infinity Tree, for making her second book a reality.
