Madeleine Pretorius of Oslo Beach guns for Mrs Courageous SA
Her passion for people started here on the South Coast.
With the South Coast community close to her heart, businesswoman and mentor, Madeleine Pretorius, strives to keep fighting for people’s rights.
Madeleine from Oslo Beach is vying for the Mrs Courageous SA National Pageant, which takes place in Ballito this Saturday (22nd).
“My aim is to showcase courage on numerous platforms, demonstrating passion to help and fight for the rights of people. My focus is on basic needs such as food, shelter, medicine and job opportunities. I took a stand for education, and fought for the awareness and relief of period poverty, a campaign called, ‘Keep our girls in school.”
She added that this year has been a blessed year as she has made an impact on communities.
She also received the Hera International Award in Johannesburg and the title of second runner-up in Mrs KwaZulu-Natal in June.
Also, she was crowned Global Queen of Education and Development at the prestigious Royal Global Queens Awards in August, a title which not only reflects her work, but the love, support and resilience that carried her through every challenge.
Madeleine aims to empower people to live their best lives and fight for their mental health. “My hope and passion for 2026 is to keep on fighting for opportunities for all on the South Coast.”
