Rock ‘n roll at Shafts’ year-end bash
It was the party of the year for the Self Help Association for Seniors (Shafts).
If medals were dished out for having fun the Self Help Association for Seniors (Shafts) members would claim them all.
Shafts’ chairperson, Colleen Haggard, thanked everyone for making sure their year-end bash was brilliant just by being there.
“How fabulous to have so many visitors join us too. And wasn’t Winston awesome? Thank you Mr Smile you sure lived up to your name. You put smiles on our faces.”
Once again Linda and Bruce Forbes from the Lobster Pot provided the perfect venue and a super three course meal.
Colleen thanked CP Moldt’s Jewellers and Uvongo River Resort for the great prizes sponsored for their lucky draw.
But as they say last but not least the biggest thank you goes to resident entertainers – Roger Linter, Grant Phillips and Paul Korb – for being brave enough to get up on stage.
Your courage and crazy antics are appreciated.
