Arrest made in Snoh Mbanda murder case on South Coast

It has been eight days since she was found dead.

A man believed to be behind the murder of 26-year-old Snoh Mbanda from Mehlomnyama has been apprehended by the community, and handed over to Mehlomnyama Saps.

This happened yesterday, when the community decided to search his house. They found blood stains, a hammer believed to have been used as a weapon, and broken window glass.

This took place on the same day residents marched to the Mehlomnyama police station, demanding that the police make an arrest.

This follows the brutal death of Mbanda, who was found dead in a field in Mehlomnyama last week Monday, less than 1km from the police station.
