Teenage girl’s body found in Umzumbe River

Police are investigating.

The body of Snethemba Ngcobo (18) was found in the Umzumbe River in Magog, KwaMadlala area on Thursday (January 15).

According to her brother, Musa Slangwe, the family is unsure what happened to her.

Snethemba Ngcobo was found dead in the Umzumbe River.

Slangwe added Ngcobo went to bed on Wednesday evening complaining of being tired, but early the next morning she was not in her room.

“While we were trying to figure where she could be, we received a call that her body was found in the river.”

Police attended the scene.
