Body found floating in Mzimkhulu River
A post mortem examination will be done to establish the exact cause of death.
A body of a man was found floating on the Mzimkhulu River near the low level bridge last Sunday.
Police said an inquest docket has been opened for investigation at Port Shepstone Saps after the body of the unknown man, believed to be about 35 years of age, was found floating in the river at 15:00.
The body was taken to the Port Shepstone Medico Legal Mortuary for a post mortem examination, to establish the exact cause of death.
The man had been wearing stonewash blue jeans, a maroon shirt and a khaki pullover jersey.
