The Department of Agriculture Ugu Veterinary Services will embark on a rabies vaccination campaign between Port Edward and Mtwalume next week.
Vaccinations are free of charge and is aimed at stopping the spread of rabies in the district.
Dates and times are as follows:
* Monday, January 19:
Gcilima Ward 5 – Bhokodisa, Nkoloni, Matsheketsheni, Nkampini, Gcilima and Lukhushwini – 08:30 to 15:00.
* Tuesday, January 20:
Gamalakhe – Qina Bout, Magogogweni, 4Room, Home 2000, Ireland, Kwa Xaba, White City and Esgedleni –
08:30 to 15:00.
* Wednesday, January 21:
Team 1: Port Edward Library – 08:30 to 12:00 and Leisure Bay – 12:30 to 15:00.
Team 2: Glenmore Supermarket – 08:30 to 10:30; Munster Protection Services – 11:00 to 13:00; Greenhart Supermarket Palm Beach – 13:30 to 15:00.
