Get ready to celebrate colourful Holi at South Coast temples
The Shree Raam Narayan Temple Society will observe its celebration on Sunday, March 1 at 16:00.
Holi, a Hindu festival, is celebrated with dancing, singing and colourful powder.
It also celebrates the eternal and divine love of the deities Radha and Krishna. Additionally, the day signifies the triumph of good over evil, as it commemorates the victory of Vishnu as Narasimha over Hiranyakashipu.
This year, the festival will be observed on March 3.
* The Shree Raam Narayan Temple Society will observe its celebration on Sunday, March 1 at 16:00. Free powder and entertainment will be provided by Sheppie Nagara. Supper will also be served. For more information, contact Rocky Ramsingh on 072 1792947.
* The Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Mandir will host a public celebration at the mandir on Saturday, March 7, from 18:00. Entry is free and Holi powder will be provided free.
