Celebrate festival of colours in Marburg this Sunday

Holi is a popular Hindu festival of colours which celebrates the eternal and divine love of the deities, Radha and Krishna.
Additionally, the day signifies the triumph of good over evil, as it commemorates the victory of Vishnu as Narasimha over Hiranyakashipu. The festival will be observed on March 3 and comprises dancing, singing and throwing of colourful powder.
* The Shree Raam Narayan Temple Society in Marburg will observe its Holi celebration this Sunday (1st) at 16:00. Free powder will be provided. Entertainment by Sheppie Nagara. Supper will also be provided. For more information, contact Rocky Ramsingh on 072 1792947.
* The Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Mandir (Sugarmill Road) will host a public celebration at the mandir on Saturday, March 7, from 18:00. Entry is free and free Holi powder will be provided.
