New head for Port Shepstone Saps K9 unit

Captain Johannes Terblanche has 35 years service in the police.

Port Shepstone Saps K9 has a new commander, Captain Johannes Terblanche.

The appointment was formally marked when the Saps Deputy Provincial Commissioner, Phumelele Makoba, together with two other provincial heads, conferred new ranks on at least 12 members during an intimate ceremony held at the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Headquarters 18th Floor auditorium recently.

Terblanche, who brings 35 years of dedicated service to the organisation, was nominated through an intense and methodical selection process and was ultimately found to be the best candidate for the position.
