OPINION: Theft victim praises professional police work

I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Captain Perumal Naicker, Warrant Officer Pierre Nel and Warrant Officer Booysen for their exceptional assistance in the recovery of my stolen items and the swift, professional handling of my case.

I would also like to thank Detective Sergeant Nonhle Ngcobo of Margate Saps and constables Evander Wandile Ngilande and Lazola Nogwaza.

After the incident was reported by a member of the community, the police quickly reached out to me with care and professionalism.

The officers demonstrated outstanding dedication, prompt communication and genuine concern for my situation.

Their efficient response and thorough investigative efforts not only led to the recovery of my belongings, but also brought me great relief during a stressful and unsettling time.

I am truly grateful for their professionalism, commitment and the pride they take in serving our community.

Their actions reflect the highest standards of the police service, and I wish to acknowledge the important work they continue to carry out every day.
