Report injured or abandoned wildlife

For assistance, contact 063 8316013 to ensure a rapid response and proper care for affected wildlife.

Residents are urged to assist in protecting local wildlife by reporting injured or abandoned animals found outside protected areas.

The Mpenjati Nature Reserve Honorary Officers Group has appealed to the public to contact South Coast Crow when encountering any wild animal in distress – including species such as duiker, leguaan, or birds.

Members of the public are advised not to handle or distress the animal, but rather to note its condition, take a photograph if possible, and share the location via pin drop.

For assistance, contact 063 8316013 to ensure a rapid response and proper care for affected wildlife.
