Local chairperson, Reggie Kistamurthy and members of the Port Shepstone Andhra Sabha, extended a warm welcome to the national leadership. The visitors were treated as honoured guests and enjoyed a delightful spread of sumptuous snacks prepared by the dedicated and efficient Andhra ladies, whose hospitality and commitment drew praise.

The AMSSA leadership expressed their admiration for the outstanding level of organisation, dedication and leadership displayed by the local Sabha. The national officials congratulated the Port Shepstone Andhra Sabha on its continued achievements, particularly its status as reigning Telugu Eisteddfod Champions.

Special commendation was also given for the Sabha’s strong involvement of Andhra youth and its ongoing efforts in preserving and promoting the rich Telugu language, traditions and cultural heritage within the community.

The successful visit further strengthened the close ties between AMSSA and its Port Shepstone affiliate and highlighted the important role played by local cultural and religious organisations in fostering unity, heritage and community development.
