Support 40th Grannies' Walk at St Michaels Beach on Heritage Day

With the theme “One Walker. One Community. One Lasting Impact,” it promises to be a memorable celebration.

The Rotary Club of Hibiscus Coast invites families, friends, and walkers of all ages to lace up for the 40th Grannies Walk on Heritage Day, September 24.

The annual event will take place along the scenic shoreline at St Michaels Beach, next to C-Bali, bringing the community together for a morning of walking, laughter and connection.

Registration opens at 07:30, with the walk starting at 08:30.

This year’s milestone celebration promises something for everyone, with men and women, families and children welcome. Dogs on a leash are also welcome.

Entry fee includes a breakfast roll and bubbly, while children under 14 enter free. Walkers can also enjoy entertainment, lucky draws and dress-up prizes.

Rotary also encourages the community to sponsor a walker for R100, or any amount, helping someone experience the 40th Grannies Walk.

Local businesses are invited to get involved by sponsoring a walker, entering a team, or encouraging staff to take part.
