Merlewood Primary fundraiser celebrates faith and music

The concert provided an opportunity for the school community to come together in support of a shared cause.

Merlewood Primary School brought learners, parents, churches and members of the wider community together for an evening of gospel music and fellowship during a fundraising concert on September 18.

The concert, held at the school hall, formed part of the school’s ongoing efforts to raise funds for educational and operational needs.

The event featured a line-up of talented gospel performances.

Merlewood Primary principal Nthabeleng Mohlaoli thanked everyone who contributed to the event’s success.

“The Gospel Concert was a wonderful celebration of faith, music and community spirit,” said Mohlaoli.

“We are extremely grateful to our performers, churches, pastors, staff, school governing body, parents, sponsors and members of the community whose support contributed to the success of the evening.

“It was heart-warming to see so many people come together in support of Merlewood Primary School.”

Mohlaoli said the school was grateful to everyone who helped make the evening memorable and supported its fundraising efforts.
