Two Grade 6 learners of Port Shepstone Senior Primary, Tristan Moheethlall and Luthando Mthembuwere were recently selected to participate in the circuit level of the Spelling Bee contest hosted by the Department of Education.
The competition was held at the Izingolweni Education Centre.
Tristan and Luthando were placed first and second respectively, and will advance to the District Competition on Monday, August 8.
The school is proud of this achievement and wishes both learners all the best at the next level of the contest.
Parents were once again afforded the opportunity to meet with teachers last Thursday afternoon to view their children’s work and to discuss their academic progress.
