Creston’s top achievers prep for overseas trip
Learners in other grades were busy with various activities.
Creston College learners going on an Academic Achievers tour to the USA at the end of September, received their tops and backpacks.
The tour is organised by Travel and Sport, and the learners will leave on Thursday, September 29 on a wonderful tour to Boston, New York and Washington and some will also be visiting Orlando.
Meanwhile, the Pre-Primary hosted its annual Sports Day where parents and grandparents all came to support the children and cheer wholeheartedly from the sidelines.
The college’s Grade 1s also continued learning about various careers while Grade 2s covered different types of transport.
The Grade 3 learners enjoyed working with money and the Grade 7s loved building their electromagnetic cranes for technology this term.
As part of the Interact Club’s activities, the interact learners from the high school visited the SPCA to spend some quality time with the animals.
They also donated some food collected through the initiative, sharing the remainder with Harmony Hills Pet Hotel.
