Scottburgh High braves cold for worthy cause
The event was to raise funds for the matric dance.
Scottburgh High School (SHS) held a polar bear swim as a recent matric dance fundraising event.
The high school and Scottburgh Primary School learners participated in this fun-filled event where learners braved the icy water and swam across the pool. A cold, but enjoyable day was had by all who participated.
As part of the fundraiser, the class that raised the most money received a free meal sponsored by John Dory’s Scottburgh. The winning class was Grade 8P from SHS together with their registration teacher Jacine Pillay.
The school thanks the restaurant for its generosity, as well as the learners who participated and contributed to the success of the event.
