Margate Primary welcomes new learners

There were a few tears on the first day but everyone had settled well by the end of the day.

Margate Primary welcomes back staff and learners, as well as, a warm welcome to the new Grade R and Grade 1 learners, and the newcomers in higher grades.

We hope that your stay at Margate Primary will be a long, happy and fruitful one.

The first week started well with most learners happy to be back among friends and getting to know their new teachers. There were a few tears on the first day but everyone had settled well by the end of the day.

We are very proud of Nonduduzo Ndlovu, a former Margate Primary learner, who achieved the second highest marks in the Ugu District in the recent Grade 12 exams.

We wish her continued success in her further studies.

Ndalwentle Xoseni got busy with drawing a picture on his first day in Grade 1.
