Jerusha awarded for excellent results
The top achiever also received her Ugu District award.
Top matriculant Jerusha Nagan attended the Umzinto Secondary School awards day at the Umzinto Town Hall last week where she received several awards for her outstanding National Senior Certificate (NSC) results for 2022.
Jerusha placed first in her school and fifth in the Ugu District.
She collected seven subject awards trophies for attaining seven distinctions. Her Ugu District award was presented to her at the awards ceremony too.
She also received special awards such as the school’s dux award, the Rising Sun top achiever’s award, the triple science award, a trophy for highest distinction in Physics in matric, a trophy for highest mark in Geography, a trophy for highest mark in Afrikaans and she collected some cash for Afrikaans and Maths and for getting the dux.
The top achiever was very pleased with what she received and her achievements were applauded by the school.
