Accolades for Creston’s awards recipients
In other news, the Grade 8s were officially welcomed into the College Phase at a bell ringing ceremony and official signing of the register.
Creston College held an awards ceremony last Thursday.
Congratulations to special awards recipients: Art – Luminathi Ndwandwe, Science – Wasanga Dinga, Commerce – Priyanka Judnarain, Positivity, Commitment and Contribution – Simoné van Heerden.
In the 2022 sport awards, Meriqè Pillay bagged the boys’ hockey player of the year, boys’ athlete of the year and sportsman of the year. Cricket player of the year was awarded to Jyhdesh Naidoo.
The Student Representative Council (SRC) members were elected at a recent assembly and the Grade 8s were officially welcomed into the College Phase at a bell ringing ceremony and official signing of the register. The bell ringing ceremony has been a tradition for the College Phase learners since its inception in 2018.
