Schools’ pageant attracts many entrants
Melisa Nontshe from Oliver Tambo Technical High School won overall best performer at a camp.
Out of 500 young people, only 50 were fortunate to represent their 25 schools at the Mr and Miss Bizana High Schools pageant.
During the recent long weekend, a five-day educational boot camp was held in Mzamba where finalists met for the first time and were handed their sashes. The group participated in different challenges which was meant to prepare them for real life situations which will teach them how to co-exist with other people in life in the near future and build their character.
The camp was attended by Yandisa Ndzoyiya president of South African Union of Students, Phiwobuhle Gongo a lawyer from Mthatha, Dr Sibhoko, Ncebakazi Pepeta and Bandile Mdliva from Wild Coast Sun
Melisa Nontshe from Oliver Tambo Technical High School won overall best performer at the camp and walked away with a new pair of fancy shoes.
The official crowning will be held at the Wild Coast Sun on September 8. Book your tickets.
