Izotsha focuses on mid-year controlled tests

It was also another exciting week of sport with the Intermediate and Senior phases playing against Port Edward.

The past week at Izotsha Primary school was the last week of sport before the beginning of the mid-year controlled tests.

It proved to be another exciting week of sport with the Intermediate and Senior phases playing against Port Edward.

The U13A hockey girls had a 0-0 draw. They dominated the game but unfortunately couldn’t get a goal in. The U11A hockey girls had a fabulous game. They dominated from the outset and worked hard as a team. They won 6-1.

The U13A rugby boys played brilliant rugby. They dominated the first half with some smooth passing and resolute defence. They played hard right to the end. The match ended in a 10-10 draw. The U11A rugby boys played an outstanding game with a 25-0 win.

The U13A netball girls played their best this season. They really pulled together as a team and displayed how their skills have improved. They lost 11-7.

The Intermediate and Senior Phase learners will be focused on writing their mid-year controlled tests over the next two weeks.
