Police talk on bullying at Hlanganani

SCH Local News | Parents are also requested to monitor their children's behaviour.

Hlanganani Preparatory is grateful to Constable Sakhile Nzama of the Saps and members of the Youth Desk who spoke to learners about bullying, respect and crime.

He explained the different types of bullying – physical, verbal, social, and cyberbullying which is often hidden as it occurs on devices, websites and apps that adults don’t know about or don’t access.

A reminder to all parents to monitor what their child is doing on their devices. Learners must report any form of bullying.

On another note, last Friday was Crazy Sunglasses Day for Hlanganani.

Wearing sunglasses to school are (back, from left) Charity Chuma (foundation phase HOD), Alondwe Shezi, Hlelo Cele, Zezipho Hughes and Ncubeko Madlala, with Abongwe Shonga, Nomaswazi Zondi, Slindokuhle Gcaba, Emihle Bongwa and Zamokuhle Khawula in front.
