Griffendore Primary earns prizes at education contest

Griffendore Primary learners received prizes for participating in an educational competition.

Griffendore Primary was recently visited by various departmental teams, namely the Ugu Environmental Health, Fire and Disaster and Environmental Management, for an environmental health education and awareness campaign.

An educational competition was also held. The Grade 5 category was environmental health issues, the Grade 6s focused on climate change, and the Grade 7s concentrated on the impact of climate change and disaster management.

Prizes were awarded to the participants.

Griffendore Primary’s management team acknowledged World Environmental Health Day and was awarded a certificate. Seen (from left) are Dylan Anthony, Shikar Ramsunder Bechoo, Elisha Chizengeya and Valecia Anthony.
