Families connect at Creston

It's been an eventful week.

Creston’s Group 5 parents kicked off a day last week with ‘Brownies and Bonding’, enjoying warm drinks and delicious brownies.

They then got a sneak peek into their child’s school day, sharing laughter and creativity with activities like play dough creations, sandpit adventures and story time.

It was a wonderful chance for families to connect and for children to shine.

Meanwhile, the Junior Primary cricket boys had a thrilling time at Southcity.

The Senior Primary U11 and U13 teams faced Izotsha, with the U11s scoring 90 runs, featuring Alwande Ntombela’s standout performance of 35 runs and Johar Lutchman taking 2 wickets.

In the U13 match, Creston set a target of 124 runs, with Lutho Menziwa scoring 39.

Despite a close finish, they lost to Izotsha by just 2 wickets. Fantastic teamwork, everyone.

A special shoutout to Simoné Van Heerden in Grade 11 for her stellar performance at the East Coast Brewery Parkrun recently.
